"We were traveling to visit the NC Zoo and was able to stay less than 10 minutes away. When we checked in, the front desk attendant, Amber was very friendly and helpful each time we came to ask a question or for assistance. The continental breakfast was good but there were so many people in the area, it was uncomfortable to enjoy the breakfast. Maybe if the dining area was just a little bit larger, it would accommodate more families comfortably."

"There is no fitness center, and even though Expedia says you have free access to a nearby gym, you do not. The staff, for the most part, was extremely friendly and helpful. The pool was nice. When we arrived, the AC was not on in the room, and it was very hot. After a few hours of the AC on the coldest level, it cooled off in the room. The bed frame is metal, and made lots of noise when you either got on or off the bed, but nothing major. The bath tub/shower had a broken stopper. I asked the front desk staff, on our first morning there, if they had an extra one. They did not. Had to go to Walmart and buy one in order for my daughter to take a bath. The buffet style breakfast is your basic hotel continental breakfast, and the coffee is typical hotel coffee. All in all, though, a fairly decent stay."

"The pool was closed, much to our disappointment. There was notice of pool being closed when booked and staff said it was on the Website putting blame on us. They did refer us to the 3 public pools, one of which was closed and the other 2 had an unknown wait time for over capasity. The YMCA requires membership, which the staff misinformed us about."

"I had read some prior comments about this property and have to say I found it very nice and clean , well maintained. Staff was great from check in going forward . Rooms were clean , quiet and comfortable. Kids enjoyed the pool and breakfast was adequate. Plenty of dining options close by"
