If you go down Shoreline "Bay front" you will come across the T-heads. Very pretty. Further down you come across many piers to fish. There is a great family area "Cole Park". Has amazing pier to walk down and fish. There are many food trucks.

I'm the least beach-person in my family but I do enjoy hanging out with the family at the beach. Corpus seems to have a nice variety of restaurants and shops. We ate dinner at Seafood and Spaghetti and breakfast at Hesters! Yum!

USS Lexington was great to visit, Padre Island is beautiful, and the Museum of Science and History is something to do with kids, and it is informative for adults too. The historic buildings close to the museum are beautiful.

Lexington and Texas State Aquarium are must sees. Beach is always fun with the family. Besides that there's not much else to do there family wise but be honest, you're there for the beach and a few memorable sights.

Corpus Christi is overall a nice coastal city to visit. There are some gritty industrial areas but can be avoided when you know the area.

Executive Residency by Best Western Corpus Christi
10/10 Excellent
"That was a great stay! The staff was super friendly, and the room was clean and big. We stayed there overnight for our son's follow-up at Driscoll, and it was awesome how close it was to Walmart and Funtracker. It worked out perfectly."
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Corpus Christi Southeast

"Overall, we had a comfortable stay. The hotel is nice, clean and quiet. It is pet friendly, so the room was a little stuffy and smelled like dog at first, but once the AC was lowered, it was tolerable. The counter was way smaller than expected, but served its purpose. Would definitely stay again."
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Corpus Christi - N Padre Island by IHG

"Overall the stay was great. Staff, Front Desk, Breakfast crew, cleaning staff all nice and did a great job, even more than that sometimes. Property is a little “old” also because it’s so close to the beach it’s always a little “wet” but that’s normal. 8/10 overall "
