I told her I was leaving and left after 3 more minutes but left with a bad impression and a sense of untrained staff. Did she want to charge me for staying 5 more...

"Staff was very friendly, food was amazing and the bedroom was very clean and comfortable! We would definitely stay there again in the future. The only downside was the access to the hotel, because of the rain the road to get there was very bumpy."

The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, and made good recommendations for restaurants in town. They organized all of our ground transportation as well."

The rooms are gorgeous, a combination of rusticity and luxury, the surrounding nature is amazing, breakfast was delicious and varied, drinks by the pool were heavenly. The village square is a short walk from the hotel and every restaurant is excellent. We only wish we had more time to try them all. Trancoso is unlike anywhere I’ve ever been and this hotel captures its essence perfectly."
