Apia is applauded for its local culture with enlightening attractions such as Falemataaga – The Museum of Samoa and Robert Louis Stevenson Museum. This relaxing city has something for everyone including sights like Flea Market and Fugalei Fresh Produce Market within a small-town setting.
Apia is awesome. I would have enjoyed it more without small kids though. We managed to enjoy a few family friendly spot like piula cave and a day at one of the beaches. It a good idea to get a good rental car.

Excellent
Off the beaten path and quite interesting. Please plan on being culturally sensitive if you visit regarding local customs especially with attire.

Excellent
If you take the ferry with a car. Make sure to get out of the car before you park as you will be stuck in there the whole trip. lol

Not much going on in down-town Apia. Travel around the Island. Go to Savi'i.
"Wonder of Nature! Great place to unwind and take in the stunning and fantastic views, the birds, forest and Malama's beautiful gardens. The staff were amazing, very friendly, welcoming and always willing to help. Service and food were good too. one of the highlights was the Sunday umu demonstration by Losi, Laa, Lili and Tusi, highly recommended. Huge thank you Lita, Malama, Dave and the team, we had a great stay and will definitely be back."
"Lovely staff and very good spot if you are wanting to go into the centre of Apia via a short walk. Plenty of shops just down the road. It does say paid wifi on the amenities but it is not available. Staff are knowledgeable about good spots for visitors. Only problem we had were the stained sheets but other than that, we had a great stay and would recommend. "
"The rooms are basic and clean the property is an old colonial style place and Samoa fales for hire setting surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden and a pool, they serve a different breakfast each day very nice, the staff are lovely and helpful. The dining area is available for use to the guests and a communal kitchen. We often would buy food and bring it back and eat at the dining area. Felt like a true Samoan experience better one of the larger hotels. One slight negative is not safe to keep food in the communal kitchen, other than that everything else is fab, I would come back here and so would my family."
