"This is a nice property in general (very well maintained gardens, nice pool) and staff was very welcoming. However, our room was a bit run down, furniture beat up and carpet with many stains. It was cold outside when we were there (September) and the only way to heat the room was a wood burning fireplace which was not my cup of tea. "

"In general the hotel is very run down. Things falling apart and dysfunctional, including pool area and umbrellas and gardens. The resort is in desperate need of serious maintenance. Also, no wi fi in rooms for a 4 star hotel is not really acceptable. Poor conditions somewhat compensated for by the first class and much appreciated service from Petrus and some of his staff -especially chef and Thabisa."

The only negative I can mention is the air conditioning, which was quite loud, and the extra sofa bed, which made so much noise that we sometimes woke up even from a deep sleep. The restaurant served very tasty, high-quality food, but the included breakfast was the same every morning.
There are two pools on the property, both clean and well maintained."

"It’s a good B&B. The room isn’t big but have all the facilities that a needed . The breakfast is good and the host was very welcoming and help me with all that a needed. The outdoor area is quite nice with a good swimming pool. The location is really good, in the city center of Knysna. I had a pleasant experience in this B&B"
