"Our stay at Le Ruone was simply amazing. The location has an amazing view of the mountains and the ocean. It was a very homey feeling as the host, Laure, is very helpful with making reservations, serving breakfast (with homemade marmelad!) and recomending things to do and see. The rooms are clean and tidy. You have to stay here if you want to experience Corsica in the right way. Our only regret is not staying longer at Le Ruone."

The cleaning staff only showed up once. The rest of the time, they expect you to call if you need help, which is not realistic for foreign travellers, especially if you are not fluent in French or Italian. The building is locked, so basic safety is not an issue. However, when the internet went out, I had no way to contact anyone...
