"The room i stayed in was very outdated. The bed was soooo uncomfortable and im not picky. I could hear every foot step from the room above me as well as the neighbors conversations. I chose the Chautauqua because i have stayed here for over 35 years. Its a far walk to the beach and town. The pool was recently refinished and looked great! They do offer a really nice complimentary breakfast. I paid $180 for a Monday night.

"Right from the beginning it was a wonderful stay! The woman working the front counter was Very cheerful and pleasant.
The room was very well put together! Had a full compliment of dishes and silverware with a real coffee maker stocked with a variety of flavors of coffee.
Room was extremely clean and smelled great.
Overall it was an excellent experience that didn't break the bank so close to the Pacific ocean. A+++"
"A gem of a motel within walking distance of the beach. A little shopping nearby, including an excellent hardware store, but Westport is just a few miles down the road for more options."
"Super cute place. Great response and communication. Amenities were awesome (spa was broken bummer but they did let us know at booking). The only bad part was the cleaning. The floors were so dirty and they’re was candy wrappers and large piles of dust balls, dirt around most of the furniture-in the room and the gathering area. Linens and beds were good. We will be back -fun concept -just maybe I’ll bring a broom 😉"
