Having wandered around Ostia Antica earlier on our trip it was easy to imagine being back in Roman times !!
The staff especially Barbara were wonderful and explained all about the property.
Rooms were delightful, toiletries were gorgeous.
Dinner was superb with sublime food in wonderful surroundings. This is much more than an airport hotel and it’s an incredible stop if you are coming in/or out of Fiumicino.

"Quite possibly the most charming hosts that we have ever encountered. Pretty much every possible amenity was considered and provided, and the hosts were very flexible in providing the best customer service possible. They also gave an unusually generous amount of complimentary snacks and drinks throughout the stay, to include for our early AM flight which they also woke up early for us. The rooms are very charming and clean. Will easily be staying here again for future visits to Rome!"

"Great comfortable place, and an awesome restaurant next door ( We ate there 3 times in 24 hrs!! Can't resist Spaghetti Carbonara all 3 meals. The steak is so good too.)
Shuttle bus and taxi services are reliable; 20euros for scheduled taxi pickup and 39euros for 4am pick-up for our early flight all OK with using credit card.
Walk up one story to the rooms but there is a baggage/HC lift to help. Met fun guests and we enjoyed the complimentary beer from Luca the hotel operator!"
