Very nice hotel, comfortable room, nice breakfast and very helpful and courteous staff throughout. The only complaint I would have is the gym was not available when I wanted to use it and the hot tub was out of service … but those are minor issues, very nice stay at MS Collection
This was the highlight of our stay in Portugal. The owners of the property (Marta and Iker) are fabulous hosts. They made us feel completely at home. As both of them have experience in the restaurant trade, breakfast (which is included) and snacks were exemplary. They make their own jams/preserves and will even cook you a three course meal if you wish. They were very helpful in giving us advice as to where to visit around Viseu / Tondela and the surrounding area. I watched a World Cup game, on...
We had good directions, a clean, well appointed room, and a wonderful, welcoming morning breakfast. Sonia is a wonderful host and I would recommend this quite spot to all. The room had good air conditioning.
The hotel was gorgeous! One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at in my life. Decor was beautiful, the room was very modern and very large. Wonderful breakfast and view from the top floor where you eat breakfast. Staff was helpful and very polite. I will stay here again when I come to Coimbra.

Beautiful apartment in the historic district of Coimbra. My family of four had the fourth floor apartment which did not have an elevator. Although it initially seemed intimidating, we were able to manage it and the staff assisted us with bringing the luggage upstairs. If you have any physical limitations, make sure you arrange to stay on a lower floor if possible. The area is beautiful, with lots of restaurants, shops, and pharmacies. I would definitely stay here again.
We loved this lovingly restored old mercantile/home before we even walked in the door. The owner maintained all the original beauty and characteristics. He even arranged for a local restaurant to make the one meal we love and hadn’t been able to find. Breakfast was absolutely lovely surrounded by so much history.

Cute little tucked away bed and breakfast. The staff were super friendly and easy to communicate with. We were about 10 minutes out from the city so we couldn’t hear the night life but we’re still close enough to uber in to see all the sites. We would definitely stay here again!
