"First of all I would like to highlight that the staff members at the reception and restaurant were lovely and helpful so this review is not a reflection on them. Now, the bedroom was spacious and the balcony had a good view of the adult pool. What I found disappointing was the first night we was told “wifi is slow” the hotel wifi did not work at all for the five days being there. Luckily I had the option to add on data but that shouldn’t be the case. The fridge was terrible, it would be “on” but...

"great place to stay. 15 metres from the train station. lovely enclosed pool so shade somewhere all day, enormous breakfast, varied and good quality evening meal. I was there during the Spanish countrywide electricity outages and the staff went out of their way to help guests who couldn’t travel onwards to spend the night in the lounges which was exceptionally gracious- well done "

"This hotel had no working AC! I was advised that due to Spannish law it could only cool the rooms to 26 degrees so it was like sleeping in a sauna. The beds were also the hardest things I have ever slept on so we simply didn’t sleep for the time we were there! Otherwise the pool areas were really lovely and well maintained and the staff were also very friendly- such a shame when we just couldn’t sleep due to the heat and hard beds! "Only thing wrong with this hotel is the food. it wasn’t to any of our parties liking. Very much bottom of the scale compared to other all inclusive or full boards hotels we’ve stayed at. Bones in everything and very little options for kids. Other than that it’s a fantastic family resort with plenty on site."

"My 4th stay at Htop royal sun I will be back again in August 22. The hotel offers all I need, friendly staff, good food & the hotel is directly on the beach. The town has plenty of shops, bars & restaurants. Transfer is 35 minutes from girona airport in July 2022 it was 57 euro. I was the all inclusive option & it’s definitely value for money. "

"Very convenient location with parking nearby. Hotel was very clean, bright and comfortable . Very good breakfast. Outside seating area and pool looked very nice - although in late November we were not tempted!! Reception and other staff were very welcoming and friendly."
