"I loved that they provided trays to bring breakfast back to the room since we have dogs when we travel. There is one table outside the main area to dine with your dog if just two of you. The location right on the river is peaceful and the property is quiet."

"I usually don’t leave reviews; my bad. However I needed to comment how wonderful this lodging was. Like going back in time when a family owned the hotel at your favorite vacation spot. I highly recommend staying here. The indoor pool is even open until 1 AM. The included Continental breakfast had a number of wholesome choices."

"We stayed here overnight on our way to visit the Wild Life Safari. Staff at check in were very friendly and offered complimentary cookies. The location is awesome. The parking lot over has a gas station, Dutch Bros, Ross, dollar tree, grocery outlet and many other stores. It’s about 15 mins from the Wild Life Safari which was also a bonus. They offer a continental breakfast which honestly wasn’t too great. There was really dry potato’s, biscuits, sausage, waffles, yogurt parfaits, cereal and bagels offered. Our room was mostly clean with the exception of the AC unit. That was filthy and had weird stuff all over it but the actual room, floors, beds and bathroom were all clean. It did have a little bit of a funny smell but it aired out easily and quickly! Room is obviously outdated and nothing fancy but the beds were comfortable and we felt safe. The pool was not open yet which was a bummer, it was part of the reason we chose the hotel but the hot tub was open! Ice machine was not working which was another bummer. Overall the stay was pleasant. Staff were kind and we’d stay again if passing through."

"Wifi didn't work, room wasn't in good condition, bed was old and uncomfortable, pillows were terrible and one had a hard RFID tag in it. You could hear everyone in the hallway and every door that shut. Breakfast was super subpar, which is the whole reason I booked it. I paid $120 and would value it closer to $70. Really run down and disappointing."

"In the lodge, we had a small bedroom with a sink, and two shared bathrooms with toilet and shower. Quiet and clean but not handicapped accessible because you have to take stairs to the second floor. We went in early May before the start of the season, so Beckie’s Cafe wasn’t open. Decent options of restaurants in Prospect. Must see: Rouge River Gorge. The trail is easy and has 4 viewing points to enjoy the beautiful river."

"Parking easy and quick to find. Good location. Friendly staff. Quick responses when found battery need replacement in thermostat. Would stay again. "

"Clean room for the most part, great tv channels, and good breakfast. Critiques are; toilet was loose and would move when sitting on it, plus the plastic seat was damaged and would scratch your bottom when soon it. The pool was green with algae and could not be used. "

"I really enjoyed our stay here, but through Expedia, I rented an ADA room, but when I arrived they had no knowledge of the request. They were able to find us a room with a walk in shower, but it had no safety bars, so I was not able to use it. Next time, I will not go through Expedia, but will reserve directly through the hotel."
