The only negative thing that happened to me during my stay was a half day lost waiting in the lobby at the day of departure. Our flight was at 9:00pm and we were flying to canada (12hrs flight) the front desk guy gave us till 2pm only. It would have been nice of him to expand it till 4pm so we can enjoy the exteriors more, the sun and refresh in the pools especially that it was too hot. Anyway it was not clever of him. Our stay at the Movenpick was excellent. The hotel arranged a driver (Wasim) to pick us up from the airport and he was excellent which resulted on him becoming our driver every day of our trip to Jordan which also included a day trip to Petra (3hrs each way) whereby Wasim drove us. Enjoyed our one night stay. The hotel has a small beach which is perfect right now since tourism is very slow in Jordan. I would imagine during busy times the beach is too small. We enjoyed the mud bath and a morning Dead Sea soak. We ended up eating at the Lebanese restaurant which was outstanding! My only complaint is the no outside food or drinks. You are stuck paying their outrageous prices which I didn’t have this problem at any other hotel in Jordan. Otherwise it was a good stay
Very friendly and helpful staff. The common areas where clean and well maintained. The swimming pool and beach area were very nice. Room was a little outdated but very clean. The price was a steal compare to other hotels in the area and Hey we even got Continental breakfast included. I will come back again.
