"This a great little hotel. Situated down a narrow hutong it remains quiet but is so handy to all of the big attractions in Beijing and the key subway station of Qianmen. The room was not large and did not have a lot of storage but for one person it is fine. Bottles of water, snacks and coffee and tea are provided and laundry service was free. I like the nostalgic feel to the interior decorating."

"Good location, near Metro Jinyuhutong, take the exit via the lift to ground level and turn right. Near Wangfujing street, which have many shopping and food options. Near Forbidden City, Donghuamen, walk about 700m. Staff is helpful: As we have our Taobao parcels delivered to the hotel, and the concierge staff is helpful and polite. Saw them helping other customer to book food delivery and even local tours."

"Room was small, but cozi. Had all the amenities. The stuff was very good, polite and helpful. Room was clean, fresh clean towel. Very quiet at night, couldnt hear any ouside noise. Just one small thing. For some reason the GPS map was having a hard time locating it. But after I checked in I kind of found a way to get around. Also, thank you very much to the staff, they let me check in and go to my room as early as 9:30-10am. Really appreciated that. But after i checked in"

"We booked rooms at the Beijing Hotel because we remembered it from 40+ years ago, when it was Beijing's premier hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel is now a shadow of its former self. The occupancy rate at the hotel seemed very low. We were told that heat would only be provided after 11/15. Our rooms were in need of renovation. The food in hotel restaurants was poor, and the restaurants wouldn't allow us to charge meals to our room or pay by foreign credit card. On the plus side, the location...
