"The place was easy to find and well sign posted tonthe reception area. I was greetwd by a lovely lady who showed me to my room and explained everything from breakfast time, the WiFi password to the adjustment of the temperature. The room was beautifully arranged and decorated with a separate entry hall, cupboard, large bathroom, which was stocked with complimentary hair and body wash. The outside/courtyard area for thw guests was well maintained and looked like a lovely place to sit in the...

"Our stay at the Jack Russell was very enjoyable. The service was excellent and the food was very good. The bedroom was very comfortable with a lovely view. However, the lighting was very subdued which is relaxing but it would have been useful to have more efficient reading lamps. The breakfast bar was good but it would have been nice to have a selection of nuts and seeds and full fat natural yoghurt. "

"I stumbled on this little gem for a work stay ... but fell in love with hit as soon as i walked in - the staff are SO friendly and helpful, made you feel welcome straight away. The food is fantastic, i recommend Monday curry nights - unreal ! Breakfast was delish as well. My room was gorgeous, country vibes with a bit of glam, antique looking wardrobes, a fan, lots of coffee and tea and fresh milk ! I cannot wait to come back"

"Nice spacious clean room . Bed was comfortable but a little worn could do with a new mattress. Bathroom was clean but looks old and some areas need repairs . But overall it was a good stopover for a night . Parking was free and available even though we arrived late evening. We would recommend it and will use it again."

"This is a typical village pub with some areas redecorated. DR 9 Hampshire: Good size. Comfy bed. Window to courtyard seating area, could be noisy in warmer weather; I slept well. Bathroom good size: Shower over tub only reachable by climbing in. Might not be suitable for less mobile guests. Some hair (this seems to be norm in every hotel lately). Slippery floor tiles! Nice hot towel rail. Food: offer and quality is good. I would stay again."
