Gondola stop right outside, book at reception to be whisked straight to the front of the line and/or pop in to the St Regis next door for a sundowner by the Grand Canal! Wonderful stay."

"Pensione Accademia is a rare find—set in a beautiful historical building with lush front and back gardens, which is quite unique for Venice. It’s quiet and peaceful, yet just a short walk to the Accademia vaporetto stop. Rooms are spacious and the air conditioning works well, though the shower doors could use an upgrade."

Whoever did the modernising was not a perfectionist in terms of finish! But everything worked well and we enjoyed it enormously. The support we got from administration before out trip was excellent and the staff at the sister Hotel Nani Mocenigo Palace were absolutely delightful, friendly and helpful."

"Very nice small boutique hotel with only 5 rooms. I like the design/deco a lot. Very close to ferry pier if you are from Rovinj. A little longer walk from the centre but it is acceptable. Quiet and clean room. Wonderful owner and staff. They are very helpful and responsive. I would certainly stay again."

"This is a delightful little hotel on a Venetian square, near St. Mark's, gondola tours, restaurants and cafes, and pretty much anything else you might want. It is beautiful & perfectly maintained. It is both historic and up-to-date--lots of electrical outlets and excellent wifi. Best of all is the staff, who are exceptionally friendly, helpful, and accommodating, but never at all overbearing. Very highly recommended."

"This was my third stay at Bel Sito e Berlino. Firstly the staff is as fine as any in Venice. They simply can't do enough to help, and always with a smile. The building is beautiful, it has a canal entrance for private taxis, and for public transport it is located at the S. Maria del Giglio ferry landing. Just a two minute walk to the hotel with no bridges to cross with heavy suite cases. The hotel has an incredible breakfast buffet in the morning, and a bar all day/ night til 11 pm. There...
