"Nice hotel located close to airport (7 min walk - but they dont have signes so expect to ask and be offered a car - 10 dollar). Clean, new and spacious rooms. Nice restaurant on site and pleasant staff. Do not serve alcohol. Good for a stay with early morning flight."

"I wouldn’t consider this area safe and would not recommend as a honeymoon destination. It was very noisy at night time, constant horning etc. There were insects everywhere, including indoors, lizards, ants, worms etc. Mary was very kind and ensured we had breakfast however, it wasn’t the most pleasant experience due to the location being very noisy and the cleanliness. The pool had insects floating about inside it and Wi-Fi didn’t connect from inside the room. We used the little rickshaws to...

"Stunning Hotel in the heart of Stone Town. So much character and charm! Sitting on the balcony watching the streets below was an absolute treat - as was the rooftop restaurant. We tried the seafood tasting menu which included some real gems along with some unfamiliar taste combinations. The call for prayer at the nearby mosque was quite loud - at 5.10 in the morning - but we quickly fell asleep again in the nice 4-poster bed. "
