"We really enjoyed our stay at the Hopping Hare. Service was exemplary, room was clean and plenty big enough. Restaurant food was a notch above your usual pub grub and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others. We stayed one night for a World Cup rugby match at Franklins Gardens which was within walking distance. "

"Recently thoroughly enjoyed a two night stay at The Old Vicarage, having visited in Sept 2025, I immediately booked again for Feb 2026. Once again the location was idyllic, our room and shared kitchen were excellent. The owners Gerry & Patricia were fabulous hosts, the dogs Frank & Elsa were very welcoming and the kitten Jennifer was lovely. The breakfasts, both full English and scrambled eggs with salmon were outstanding. In the afternoon we visited the nearby Heart of the Shires Shopping...

"Very comfortable stay & a friendly atmosphere. A fabulous homemade granola, fruit & yoghurt bowl for our breakfast. Plenty of other choices, but we went for it each morning. Hope to be back next year at the same time to meet with friends for The Veteran-Cycle Club Luncheon."

"The breakfast was great on the whole, although I would’ve liked a wider array of cheeses on offer and cold cuts of meat. It was really pet friendly and I brought my cavapoo so thank you. The staff were so kind and helpful, especially the sales manager and the front reception staff. They were very keen to help. I was really impressed with the location and the grounds which was ideal for doggies and the vintage heritage railway station and classic trains just round the corner at was a wonderful...

"Stunning apartments, looking right out onto the track. Got to see some F4 racing from the room and walk into the paddock just because we’d booked a race weekend without initially realising. Balconies are shared if you get a one bedroom apartment but we were the only ones in our apartment block so we had some privacy. Decent breakfast buffet. Pool area nice enough with nice changing rooms."
