"Modern, new hotel, eco friendly, great food (even organic options), comfortable beds, great location close to everything, super friendly staff, they all went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Dog friendly, my little Yorkie loved the garden and loved Noah, the hotel pet. Couldn’t ask for more, thank you for an amazing experience. Would definitely recommend it to my friends."

"This is an excellent hotel that is quiet and conveniently located. The staff are incredibly helpful and always ready to assist. The breakfast is delicious, making it a wonderful place to stay. I stayed for seven days and it almost felt like I was at home away from home. The shower has good water pressure and is very refreshing."

"We arrived late at night, actually it was more like early morning. Rio Amazonas is one of the few hotels that will let you check in that late. Check in was swift and we got a broom with a magnificent view over the city and Cotopaxi. The room was clean, the beds comfortable and the bathroom brand new and beautiful. Breakfast is fabulous and the staff is very friendly. Not sure about the neighborhood yet, but it looks fine. "

"Beautful secure quiet hotel three blocks from Fochs Square. I had room 4 which is just off breakfast area and had garden view. Wifi worked well. Bathroom is a little small which is comon in Ecuador. No tv or phone which I consider a plus. Could use a table and chair but other than that a good place to stay. "

Rooms came with magazine and were clean. Minutes walk to Quicentro and La Carolina park. Highly recommended!"
