"This hotel was in a great location, tucked away down a side street in the old town. Easy to walk to restaurants, temples, markets etc. Our room was comfortable with a nice balcony overlooking the pool area. The pool area was quite small and shaded by trees. We didn’t use it during our stay because we were doing other things. Breakfast was ok."

"The Thapae Loft is conveniently located at short walking distance from the eponymous Thapae Gate of Chiang Mai. That makes it a perfect hub for sightseeing within the city centre, with its many trendy cafés and excellent Thai massage parlors. "Villa Sirilanna was a great option. Close to many destinations in the old city. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast each morning was excellent. Rooms are large and very comfortable. No washlets. Yet they have a hose for each toilet. AC was great and they were very accommodating. We extended our stay with the, because we were so hay. "

"This hotel is very well located on the east side just outside Chiang Mai's old town. You can walk to Tha Pae gate which is very famous for photographs and that takes you into the old town. We got a room on the 6th floor with a beautiful view of the old town and Doi Suthep in the background - would definitely recommend asking for a room facing the west."

Mae booked a wondeful Elephant sanctuary tour for us and was helpful in explaining best places to go when in Chiang Mai. For the cheap price the hotel was great. Very centeral to do day walks from throught the gate and around rhe city. Close to greatfood spots. "
