"Grand Mercure Puka was absolutely stunning. The staff were so attentive, the little cottages were clean, bed was very comfortable, was a quiet relaxing stay. The on site restaurant was excellent. Definitely would stay again "

"The staff were wonderful. We were late in arriving but staff made the check-in process smooth and easy. We were in unit 1 which has a view of the bay and a wonderful outside sitting area with a bbq. Linens were nice and beds comfortable. The heat pump worked well when we needed air conditioning or heat. The staff were very helpful during an unusual heavy rainfall event to make sure we were safe and had everything we needed. We would stay again if we are back in the area. Hot water beach and Cathedral Cove are within easy driving distance. "

"Perfect room. Pleasant gentleman who checked us in. Short 5 min walk to great beach (early morning we were on the beach alone). Amenities include microwave, mini frig, toaster. Cute town. Hahei Explorer boat ride is informative and about an hour. Cathedral Cove walk is quite nice, but be prepared for some steepness (about 2 miles one way)."
