I found this hotel on expedia. It had the best price out of all the listings I found. To me, the main thing I look for in a hotel is a place to sleep and shower...I don't go away to sit in a room so I just chose it based on the low price. Spent a week in Dublin at The Green and could not have been more happy with our decision. Location is excellent, very walkable and centrally located between local and more tourist destinations. Trinity College and Molly Malone are a quick stroll, Temple Bar is a little further (15ish minutes). Local Tram across the street to get to spots further away. St. Stephen's park also right across the street. The weather we had during our stay made the park a nice added bonus.

This hotel is one of the most incredible places I’ve ever stayed in! Comfortably nestled just outside Dublin, it’s quiet and peaceful and gorgeous! The staff were amazing, The Spa was to die for, and I would only ever want to stay at this hotel if I come back to Ireland :) if I could do a rating of more than 5, I totally would!
We would definitely stay at The Davenport again. We liked the location near Merrion Square- a little away from the crowds in Grafton St /Temple Bar area, but still very walkable to those places. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good, lots of choices. We quite enjoyed our stay.

This boutique hotel is different than a chain hotel and so worth the money. We stayed for 6 nights and loved our stay. Greatest location for shopping and pubs, very quiet to sleep and the beds and pillows were fantastic. We arrived at 6 am and they had one room ready for us because we had emailed ahead of time that we would Be arriving early. Guest area in lower level was great also. Only problem were the room keys not working very well, frustrating. I would stay again
