"We have stayed at the Hopping Hare a few times. It is a great pub, the food is very good, and the staff are very helpful. We would recommend the Hopping Hare to anyone. Only down side is getting to the rooms can be a little tricky - narrow passage ways and stairs."

"We keep going back to Mercure. We like it's "attitude" and feel safe sleeping there. It's great for access to the town centre. Breakfast was excellent - an "eat what you want" from a huge buufet selection. Car parking was secure and just a little extra to the hotel price. The room was clean and warm. We'll be back (again!)"

We stayed 1 night in standard room with (fantastic) breakfast - great value all round. Great location on high st with lots of dining options nearby, although dinner menu looks very good, good safe parking as well. As well as comfortable clean rooms the property has excellent staff throughout- the breakfast staff even filled our water bottles with cold water and ice...
