Alnwick Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"The stay was unique the property was very well put together with all the facilities but made from antique and oldie worldie fixtures. The owners were welcoming and jnformative. Breakfast was good and surroundings beautiful. Will go again."
"Everything was wonderful, wifi not so much, and i like dogs, but not in an eating place, twice, little jack russels got under my feet when carrying food and drink, but our stay, top class, will come again."
"Six of us were travelling up to Scotland and booked 3 rooms for one night. We all thought that the rooms were very clean and comfortable with amazing views across to Bamborough. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room was most welcome after a long drive. We ate at the restaurant which had a very good menu, the food was very good and well presented and reasonably priced. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful too. I would happily recommend Purdy Lodge without hesitation."
"Really nice cosy, romantic room. Really good breakfast. We had dinner booked elsewhere, but we wished we had a second night to eat at the restaurant, it looked very nice."
"Lovely comfortable beautifully finished and decorated - staff attentive - shower slightly weak flow but plenty of hot water
Breakfast superb - - could not be more central good value for money "
"I was looking for a clean and quiet spot to enjoy the sea – this was the perfect place. Close to Bamburgh but out of the fray with ample parking and good food. Staff was friendly and attentive. "

"Absolutely fantastic hotel, I would highly recommend a room with a balcony, with the door open falling asleep to the sound of the sea.
The food and drink menu is presented by an excellent team that make you feel welcome. "
