Beautiful hotel, great distance from airport, five stars

The hotel was clean with a friendly staff. Hampton advertises a shuttle to the airport but do not tell you that there is a cost with very limited hours of transportation.

Had to take a city bus that charged a fare to the airport. The bus came approximately every 10 minutes

Quick stay but very nice!

Convenient location for our overnight layover! Very clean. Suggest taking public bus which drops you off very close to the hotel.

We needed a hotel near the airport for an early fligh. This hotel is 15 minutes from the airport and it is a gem. A great restaurant and great rooms.

Staff was very professional, breakfast delicious and shuttle is very close.

While I do quite a bit of business travel, this stay was during the vacation, when I visited my son at TUM in Garching. My schedule was pretty loose, but at any time of day and night I've seen plenty of jetlagged travelers, catching up on work at the very comfortable lounge or enjoying a drink or two at the bar. Everything you need was right there: 24x7 shop with snacks and drinks, laundry, gym and meeting rooms, excellent coffee in the morning and refreshing weissbier at the end of the day,...

Was a great place to stay! The rooms are a little committed to some designer's edgy ideas from few years back, but I kind of liked it in a quirky way. The rooms were clean, bathrooms were great, and I'm glad we stayed there and it was a reasonable price!

This was a clean property to stay near the airport. They also offer paid shuttles to and from the MUC airport. We stayed here one night.

GREAT breakfast!

We stayed with our adult children at the Hotel Obermaier during Octoberfest. It was all that we had hoped for. It is a traditional hotel with a good restaurant attached. It is convenient by Metro to downtown Munich. It is much more reasonably priced than closer-in hotels. Our room and bathroom were comfortable. The breakfast was unbelievably generous and delicious. We will definitely stay at the Hotel Obermaier if we are fortunate enough to return to Munich, particularly during Octoberfest.

Quiet and clean. Good location with great parking. Easy access to airport and u-Bahn.
