"Location was great - 15 mins walk into the old town (with some good places of interest en route) and for the evening - the area has many fabulous cafes and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The whole hotel is really arty and chilled. Our room (102) was large and comfortable and the bathroom was amazing. There was a choice of local or western breakfast each morning with lots of PG tips!! Would definitely go back. We walked the whole of Ipoh twice over during our stay and agreed that our hotel...

"Evertime I went to Ipoh, I stay in Excelsior Hotel. The price is reasonable and near to food,shopping and massage. Is clean and quiet.Surprising on ramadan period they offer us free buffet breakfast. "

"Plus point: location is good. Near to recreational area (Padang Polo where a lot food stall available in the afternoon) and can access to many other places easily. Minus: Limited parking breakfast was so-so (better don't include breakfast in your booking)."
