"A Slice of Paradise: Unmatched Hospitality in Kona! If you are planning a trip to the Big Island, look no further than the Mango Sunset Bed-and-Breakfast in Kona. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a truly special place, but it was our incredible hosts, Gene and Kriss, who turned a wonderful vacation into an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience. World-Class Hospitality Gene and Kriss are, hands down, the finest hosts we have ever encountered. Their hospitality is unmatched; they anticipate every need with genuine warmth and aloha. But they didn't just feel like accommodation hosts to us—over the course of our stay, they truly became friends. Sharing conversations and laughs with them honestly made our trip that much better. They are the heartbeat of this beautiful property. Spectacular Rooms & Stunning Grounds The property itself is an absolute dream. The grounds are meticulously landscaped, lush, and vibrant, perfectly capturing the tropical essence of Kona. Walking through the gardens feels like a peaceful escape. As for the accommodations, the rooms were spectacular—immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and designed for ultimate comfort and relaxation. Waking up here and watching the sunset in the evenings was pure magic. If you want breathtaking views, luxurious and comfortable rooms, and a level of hospitality that makes you feel like family, Mango Sunset B&B is the only choice. We left with beautiful memories and lifelong friends."

"The resort is overall very good. The views are great from the balcony and the front pool. The rooms are overall clean, better than other hotels, however you do get some occasional bugs and weird smell sometimes. Bathrooms could also be cleaned a little bit better, but overall it was good. The villas are well equiped with appliances and home necessities and is very spacious. There are NO USB charger stations like at other hotels. The AC was very good to have and Wifi was great. Kona Coast is a great central location, many things are nearby and only a few minutes drive to downtown. Staff was great!"

"Clean but a bit outdated. The housekeeping staff is incredible!! The Luau was fantastic! The common areas of the property were clean and maintained. Our room was pretty outdated and mediocre. I wish there was a bit more lighting or lighting on the balconies at the least. Another big downer is the lack of coffee. I wish they offered free coffee or a coffee bar similar to most hotels. The coffee in the room is not very great but it is what it is. Overall a good place to stay! The lagoon is very beautiful and fun. It did suck a bit when the surf was high and we couldn’t use it for most of our stay but we can’t tell nature what to do! I’m glad the staff valued safety!"
