"First time booking a single room and it's more cramped than the average Motel 6 room, but still a clean good night's sleep when it counts. There's even a manual hidden in one of the shelves if you need further info about the room. Arrived around 11pm and staff is still available via lobby phone. Location is also great, as it is a short walk from a rotunda of late night restaurants, convenience stores, and the train station itself"

"This place gave very strong homely vibes. I picked it for that fact and was glad it did not disappoint. Don't let the fact it's close to the train tracks determine your choice. One of the amenity given was hearing protection with a multi linguistic guide on how to wear. "

"This property was so great! Literally 5 metres from a local grocery store and next to it a 711. Very pleasant 5 min walk to the train station. The property inside was also great, lots of room for a family of 5 and could accommodate twice that. Highly recommend! We hope to be back soon! Thanks "

"The room was nice. The stairs up to the 2nd and 3rd floors are tight, taking suitcases up and down them feels precarious given how narrow the staircase is and how small some of the steps are. Be aware that the property is very close to a highway, so the noises from it are audible all through the night. Host was very responsive and made check in and check out very easy."

"This is a wonderful place to stay. The hosts are very attentive. They offered me great recommendations of where to visit, shared about the history of Japan, explained how to use the public transit thoroughly, provided rides to the nearest train station, provided a delicious full breakfast—with home made marmalade, etc. The place feels like a historical gem, with a peaceful feeling to it."

"Perfectly located for exploring the city and sights. Generally clean and tidy with plenty of space. Very comfortable beds and well payed out. Sofa needs replacing as very uncomfortable, under the beds could do with a clean. Located next to a railway line which trains run very frequently, above a Karaoke bar which does go on until 03:00. But you do get used to it. "

"Overall the listing was not what we had expected. The address was not accurate and led us to a completely different block. We only received 1 towel for 2 nights for each person, we requested more but did not get an answer from the host. The area was good though, located close to the station and convenience stores. The washroom was really tight and there was leakage in the pipes. Cleanliness was not the best. Our neighbours were great though!"

"Amazing experience! A genuine home that a Japanese family might live in - so cool! King size bed below, and king size bunk bed above. Tiny toilet & tiny shower, tiny kitchen, free washing liquid for washing clothes for free. However, the hot water disappeared and I couldn’t shower for two days. I wrote to the vender, but they never replied, nor fixed the hot water issue. Very efficient self check-in and check-out. A little long of a walk to Ikebukoru station, especially when lugging luggage....
