I was in a tournament at the Iowa Events Center and it was an easy 15 minute walk - no car, no hassle! The staff were friendly and helpful. Des Moines has a lot of construction going on."

"It’s a good hotel located near the Iowa Events Center. I like that it’s easy to get to and within walking distance of the venue and several places to eat. As most places it could probably do with some updates here and there. Like the shower valve squeaked when it was turned on but overall it’s a really clean hotel. Love that they have fridges and microwaves in room which is not so common in a lot of hotels anymore. Makes those late nights or early mornings a little easier if you can make...

"Stayed for the weekend to attend Iowa Cubs/Memphis Redbirds games. Hotel Savery was lovely and perfectly located. We could walk to the ball field and lots of restaurants and bars. Room was comfortable and staff were great."

"The Homesuites by Hilton was incredibly quiet - day and night. The room was spacious, clean and well-kept up. We slept well and also liked having ‘real food’ on offer for breakfast, extra towels, and on-site laundry. One tip would be to bring dishwasher & laundry pods, and maybe some paper towels."
