"Location Location Location The guesthouse was a wonderful location to access the hiking trail to the glacier. We stayed in one of the two-unit bunk houses. The room was small but we enjoyed it. Despite the howling winds, we were cozy. Our main goal was to hike to the glacier. We were provided with a great breakfast for hiking. It offered an array of food options that left us ready for a morning long trek. The staff was excellent. This is a no frills option that was more than adequate for what we sought. We literally left the parking lot and got on the trail for a fantastic three to four hour hike. If your goal is to enjoy a great morning on the trail, this your place."
"We loved staying at this hotel. It was a beautiful setting where we were able to see two Glaciers from our window. When we finally arrived at the hotel after driving for 5 hours, we were exhausted, but dinner revived us—the lamb and Arctic char dishes were amazing! My husband said it was the best lamb he had ever tasted, and I agreed! We were so glad that we decided to eat at the restaurant in the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a good night sleep, and we were ready to go hiking nearby Glaciers. We had a wonderful stay. Thanks for hosting us! "
"We got a room on the main floor with a terrace and it was very clean and comfortable and spacious! The breakfast options were fantastic and the homemade ice cream and milk from the farm cows was delicious. The staff were very helpful and made checking in and out easy."
"Small but strategically placed property right beside Vestrahorn and the Viking Village. Room look updated, although small with not much room to move around the beds, it had everything needed for a comfortable and quiet stay with great views. Very friendly welcome and with it right beside Vestrahorn, it was an ideal stay for getting pics at sunset and sunrise. Breakfast was standard fare but dinner options were limited to soup, a panini or grilled cheese and ham. Book early as likely to sell out well in advance!"
