"Home Hotel Helma has focussed on making working travellers and overnight tourists as welcome and as comfortable as possible. The rooms were cosy and comfortable, the food was healthy and delicious, with lots of fresh produce. A special shoutout to Victoria, who went out of her way to make our stay special. She had great advice about where to find things and an excellent short walk to stretch the legs and get a great view of Mo I Rana. Reckon she would be a great hotel manager, as she referred us onto other great Strawberry Hotel Group properties. So charming and clever with an eye to growing the business. You are fortunate to have such great staff. Thanks for making our stay much more than we could have hoped for, after the long uncomfortable bus ride to get there, while the trains are out of action.
Cheers"
"Very kind, understanding and considerate gentleman at reception when checking in & out understood our problems with changing train times and substitute bus timetables.
Breakfast had good choice, tasty and was well presented.
Close to water front."
"Amazing views from the room and the deck. Unfortunately our next door neighbours were parting, drinking and smoking so we spent little time on the deck. Still highly recommended "
"Scandia Seven Sisters is located next to the fast ferry and Hurtigruten pier, so excellent location for us. The room was a bit small, but bed was comfortable. I’m sure some room must have nice view, our room did not. The breakfast buffet was excellent including for gluten allergy. "
"Location is superb and grounds are gorgeous! It’s also an easy walk to town and to the Staircase hike which is amazing. Front desk staff was super nice and helpful! True about the lack of AC and it was rather warm during my stay. Overall the benefits of the place outweighed it!"
"Room turned out to be single and we were two. We had to cheat in order to room the two of us, and the bed and equipment wasn't enough for two. In addition a heat wave hit the area which the place was totally unprepared for. We were suuffering through the heat."
"The cabins are nice with their own bathroom with shower. As the kettle and most everything else is shared with other campers there was a shortage of ciffee cups, but a request at the office fixed that, as we got there just before it closed at 5 pm. There is a restaurant at the ferry terminal that was good then a walk around the docks was very nice."
