"Had a very nice stay at the Charles River Inn. Friendly staff. They are conveniently located off the main route into Boston and only a 5 min. drive from BU. There is ample parking and a McDonalds and ihop are within walking distance. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It's an older building, so there is no elevator. Shower water pressure is exceptional. I would stay there again, whenever I'm in Boston."

The location is super convenient, with Whole Foods just a short walk away and everything felt very safe, even in the evening. The professional and pleasant hotel staff were very helpful - switching us to a room with a bath tub. The bed/bed linens were incredible/soft, all of the food we had was excellent. Henrietta’s Table for dinner. In room breakfast the next day. The was freshly brewed- tasted like real coffee. We loved the free snack pantry in the lobby (yay!! diet cokes and cheezits!)....
