"The hotel is located near Hakata Station - on one of the side streets so it was quiet. Can easily catch the subway, local trains and Shinkansen. Was able to walk to different places like the Kushida Shrine, Canal City Hakata, yatai stalls. The room was clean - room size was adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a good stay and will likely stay again if I return to Fukuoka. "

There's also a 24-hr tax-free cosmetics and drug store across the street (which also sells some food souvenirs that are slightly cheaper than those at the train station and some drinks, yogurt, sweets and snacks that are cheaper than convenience stores). "Next time I wouldn’t want to stay on lounge and onsen floor, and not next to elevator as it was very loud at times. Generally room was fine and bathroom and toilet and sink were good. Lots of outlets to plug things in, but connections at the plug were a tad loose. Lounge with drinks and view was very nice but juice/pop machine were out of order which was too bad. Had a very nice hot chocolate there and watched the city. Check out was very quick which I appreciated and it was a quick 10 min walk...
