The staff were very friendly and helpful the food was good , plenty of off street parking and the property had a unique feel , with the river passing through the property with small bridges passing over the various water ways . "Hotels.com have asked me "How helpful was the staff?" - it's "were"!!!!! This is their media/marketing dept. Thankfully the Thatched Cottage were so much better and more efficient. It's gorgeous, need to do a bit of ducking but really efficient. Steve in the tearoom doing breakfast was superb and really enhanced the experience. Wife thought the mattress needed changing but that's the only minor criticism. It's a 15th century cottage so be prepared - they didn't have 6'3" people in those days....

"Lovely overnight stay before visiting Beaulieu Motor Museum The room was quirky (low beams). Bed very comfortable & shower was hot. We ate dinner & breakfast at The Filly. Both were very good. The staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay again"
