"The property is older. That's fine. We had a clean room, hot water and a good location just two blocks from La Crucecita. But in this day and age, WiFi is a must. This hotel has great WiFi... in the lobby. But in the rooms? Literally nothing. I saw people walking the halls with their computers or IPads trying to find service. In today's age, where people use the web for everything from streaming movies to WhatsApp, connectivity is a must. Bottom line, if web access is not a deal breaker for...

Location is great: few blocks from the center, but away enough to be peaceful. Convenient store across the street. Overall great value for the money. "This hotel is very basic. There was not 24hr coverage from reception and the gate to the street didn’t lock. My room was on the first floor with just a flimsy lock on the door knob, and a Hollis door. It did not feel secure and I was disappointed by that. Clean tho, friendly staff when you could find them. The zocalo is a few blocks away and there is a great natural foods restaurant nearby called La Botanica, a nice surprise among teaditional.fare. taxi is required to ger ro the beaches but the price is very affordable.
