"The Hotel itself was basic but suitable for our two night stay. Excellent shower. The staff were friendly and helpful but the breakfast very basic. The real "downer" was the location, or rather, the inhabitants of the location. There was quite a large collection of drug users and alcoholics (from observation) constantly gathered near the door to the Hotel and spread right across the road for most of each day ! Quite intimidating really."

"Great location within walking distance to Old Town and most landmarks. The building and the interior need some refreshment, but the room was clean, equipped with all the necessary things. The shower too small for my big husband, but they both survived😃. Great breakfast and extremely nice and helpful service make Windthorst Hotel a place worth coming back!"
