Point Farms Provincial Park
Final camping trip of the season and we finally have sun for once. This weekend we camping at Point Farms Provincial Park off of Lake Huron. It's our first time here and the beach is enormous!!! I highly recommend visiting this place as its great for families. White sandy beaches that stretch as far as the eye can see. Water is cold but refreshing with only a little bit of seaweed. The shallow end extends quite far out giving you lots of room to have fun without getting in anyone's way. Bugs aren't too bad either. There is no firewood available within the park but a 30 second drive north outside the park marks a small variety store where you can buy all your camping needs such as fire starters, wood, kindling, and so on. The closest grocery store is about a 20 minute drive south towards Goderich called Zehers. This parks marks our 30th provincial park in Ontario.
