Lovely boutique hotel, beautifully renovated and nice decor! Great breakfast and helpful staff. The shower floor was very slippy and I would suggest a slip mat. ALSO, I would HIGHLY suggest darkening blinds/drapes, we faced the church and the bright lights shown through our drapes all night.
Having looked for a hotel close to the old town and Trogir/SPU airport we found this Ola hotel and were very satisfied.

Once we decided to stay outside of Split in the neighbouring town of Trogir, Brown Beach Hotel was an easy decision. The staff were very helpful and kind, and they even let me check in at 10:30 in the morning when I arrived. The room was very large with everything you could want or need. The property was close to the beach and an easy walk to the Riva. I also appreciate that the restaurant marked dishes as gluten free; it was one of the only ones in Split I found to do that.

Because of its location on Marjan Hill, it can be a little difficult to find without GPS. We left our car parked and walked up and down to the Riva. If you aren't in reasonably good shape, you might find this to be a problem. But, once you get there, you will find a marvelous hotel. If you’re going to visit Split, you should consider just one place to stay. This place has it all. Location, great service, nearby parking, stunning views, and a staff that is beyond. Jan was a perfect tour guide and host. Ana was always there with great directions and a smile. The breakfast was lovely and ample. If I could give it 6 stars I would. We had a wonderful stay. To say the staff was friendly and helpful would be an understatement. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had a great stay. Lovely beachfront spot mixed in among the other hotels. Easy ride into town (20-25 minutes by bus or 15 by car). You can't beat the price vs. value for Beachfront Mediterranean. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
