We had rented a car and drove to this location, the roads were tight which was expected but they had a large garage next door to park our car. Staff was amazing and were very helpfull upon arrival explaining, in English, all the great sites to see and how to get to them. Public transit was close bye. "

"I had a fantastic stay at La Casa Juan Ranas. It was mid October so the weather was still warm and the local area was vibrant. The view from my suite’s terrace, was truly breathtaking - the best view of Alhambra! It was memorable having breakfast on my terrace and seeing the whole of Granada sprawling beneath the palace. "This is a charming, beautifully appointed hotel. I would strongly recommend it if you’re interested in staying in the Albaicín district. Many tapas bars, quiet plazas, wonderful churches. Where we stayed was next to a convent. Our room 11 had views of the Alhambra ( though a few trees) were part of this exquisite view. The staff were exceptional. Would put it at the top of your list of places to stay in this wonderful city. "

"Nice clean hotel apartment located in a very quiet, secure and convenient corner in Granada, downhill from the Alhambra. Area is not very car-friendly (as is most of central Granada), so be prepared to haul your luggage over a few hundred yards of cobbled stone roadways/passageways to get to the hotel. The apartment is fully equipped with its own kitchen and utensils, and laundry on the ground floor. Very comfortable bedding and lighting system. We had a pleasant stay."
