my 4th trip to Jerusalem since 2013. First time I stayed at other than King David. Loved Herbert Samuel (HS). Great staff, nice new rooms, good breakfast. All you need. HS is new and in the center of everything and much nicer rooms than King David. Also an easy walk to Old City. I recommend this hotel to friends - I will stay here again.

This is a real deal. Geared for the Christian tourist.Great location right as you come in the Yaffa gate. and great rates. Not the fancy schmancy type but it does the job. Lots of middle eastern salads offered for breakfast. Staff makes omlettes for the guests. There is a 24/7 coffee maker by the front. I felt safe due to the location.

Small hotel in the middle of everything. One block from Ben Yehuda shopping, excellent restaurants, King George and Jaffa streets. 10 minute slow walk to Mahane Yehuda Market.

The hotel is so close to the Damascus Gate it made walking in and out of the old city really easy. We got to the hotel after midnight and they were there waiting for us. The free breakfast in the morning was fantastic and we were off for the day. We needed to check out late and move rooms and they were very happy to give us the big room so we could all get ready for the airport after a day of touring.

If you are picky and like nice hotels, this place is for you. My mom and I stayed here and loved everything about it. The Arthur is exactly what it claims to be. The description and photos are exact and the other reviews are pretty much dead on and the service is beyond compare. They make you feel like family. The rooms- Small (most are) but homey with excellent utilization of the space. We felt like it was out home away from home. Bring conditioner! They only have a 2-in-1 shampoo....

Outstanding hotel & staff. Only drawback was they don’t have parking and fee to park about two blocks away is kind of high.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time in Jerusalem, in great part thanks to staying at the Sephardic House. We started our stay in another hotel, but we moved over to the Sephardic House and improved the quality of our trip substantially. Weary-worn from travels from the U.S., with stop-overs in Europe, we arrived at Tel Aviv Ben Gurion airport roughly at midnight only to discover our large, checked suitcases had not arrived with us. After a couple of hours to process paperwork, we hailed a cab to our Tel Aviv guest lodge (with no night staff) supposedly near the airport only not to be able to get in, and the phone number given to us for help, would not pick up. Close to old city Jerusalem Damascus gate, American colony and easy to walk or drive to historical/biblical sites.

Amazing little hotel, VERY CLEAN and neat! Excellent service, located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Would stay there another dozen times if opportunity presented. Just 2.5 miles from city center. Bus close but walking was more fun for meeting and interacting with the Israeli people.

It is very difficult to find a good hotel in Jerusalem. People who have visited Jerusalem would agree that it is not easy to find a hotel with a good balance of reasonable price, cleanliness, location, service, and safety. Outstanding service and perfect location for your pilgrimage to the Holy Land. It's located across from the New Gate and a short 10 min walk to the Holy Sepulcher. The staff was wonderful and the restaurants offered a terrific menu as well as an amazing view of Jerusalem. From a spiritual standpoint, we were able to attend mass everyday at the chapel and it was a perfect way to reflect on our day.

I was invited to present at a conference in VAn Leer Institute and met someone who lived in BAKA who invited us for Shabbat. I found it on Hotel.com. The accommodations in this beautiful villa were spacious,clean and welcoming. The bathroom was beautiful and had a jacuzzi. This was a real find and an unexpected oasas in the midst of our travels. The hosts were great and helpful. This was a perfect location, a short distance from downtown Jerusalem and a perfect place to stay.

I spent 5 days at the Inbal and it was wonderful. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The staff is wonderful and the service is superb. The food was delicious and elegantly served (best omelet maker at breakfast in all of Israel). Most of all the ambiance is warm and the staff is caring.
