10/10 Excellent
"Family-friendly lodge with plentiful food options and activities for kids. An excellent safari option if you have limited time in the Cape Town area and are interested in seeing the Big 5. "
"We had a lovely stay at The Marine. The staff was extremely kind and helpful and the room and lounge were beautifully decorated. Also, it is conveniently located on the cliff path and near the shop, which was perfect. We highly recommend!"
"Beautiful views over the bay and a comfortable room. We really enjoyed the attention to drinking glasses - great quality!
The Staff were super friendly and efficient. "
"We stayed in several hotels this trip, none compared to The Spier hotel.
I'm hard to please but this hotel knocked it out of the park.
Truly gorgeous and special."
"It was a lovely property. Helpfully located for the vineyards via taxi. The area was under good security survelliance. The hotel itself is very beautiful and modern and has a lot of art on show. Rooms were spacious and clean and the service was very good. Would definitely recommend "

10/10 Excellent
"A lovely room with modern, interesting decor. Everything needed was provided e.g. teas, coffees etc.
Reception was incredibly helpful and couldn't do enough for you
Breakfast was incredible! All ordered from a menu, but a very wide range of choices, and the ability to have whatever you'd like (French toast is to die for!)
Location is brilliant as well - a seven minute walk to all the main restaurants in town!
The only complaint is their strict cancellations policy. We had to reshuffle our whole holiday by three days due to my husband's work, and this was the only hotel out of seven across Cape Town and the Garden Route that didn't refund us at all, despite weeks of notice. This was a shame, but the hotel is lovely nonetheless. "
