"I was there for a 60’s weekend so didn’t use the facilities much. The rooms were fine but bathroom was tired What I expected in a hotel this old. A lot of renovations going on on the outside and a new lift has been installed so money is being invested. Staff were all lovely On a hilly location so need plenty stamina"

"No food available after 8PM and no room service. This caught us out and we struggled to find a restaurant last minute. I’d expect more for £200/night. The room with a sea view was excellent. Hotel location also excellent. Minor points regarding the room. No water glasses and would have welcomed 2 extra pillows."
