"The staff were excellent and very helpful and giving ideas on places to go visit and for dinner. The room was clean and well designed however the room was not soundproof, and the neighbors felt as if they were in the same room as us. We could hear their entire conversations and the TV they were watching."

"Es la tercera vez que me hospedo y sin duda me volveré a hospedar en este hotel. La habitación muy buena, la cama cómoda y en general el hotel muy bien. El desayuno bueno, por un precio adicional. A diferencia de mis otras estancias, en esta ocasión, había un olor a caño antes de entrar al lobby. El estacionamiento es de buen tamaño y pudimos hacer uso del parque central, muy bonito. El cuarto con sofá cama muy útil con niños pequeños. Dejamos un iPad y nos contactaron por email al poco tiempo y pudimos regresar a buscarlo. Sin duda una muy buena elección."

"pretty well center, restaurants, stores, OXXO and Easy access to the beach. I like that there were cámaras in every corner of the stairs and one or more staffs were always at the front entrance and WiFi was strong. felt safe as a solo female traveler. The room was never humid like some others beach hotels even if you have the AC on. If you want a peaceful night, I won’t recommend the balcony view because there will be kids and people shouting, playing and music very late in the night and noises early in the morning, but not problem for me. The view of the beach its beautiful I wish the hotel had an infinite pool or a good rooftop garden. other than that I will definitely be back to Hotel playa linda because it was definitely un hotel muy lindo"

"Shambalanté is truly a hidden jewel in the heart of the Yucatecan jungle—a sanctuary for the soul. From the moment you arrive, time seems to slow down, replaced by a deep sense of peace, quiet, and connection with nature. Everything about this place invites you to breathe more deeply, to let go, and to reconnect with yourself and with the nature around you. The surroundings are simply magical, and the atmosphere feels both grounding and gently transformative. And the food… absolutely wonderful. Thoughtfully prepared, nourishing, and full of flavor, it complements the entire experience beautifully. If I had known just how special Shambalanté is, I would have stayed a full week instead of just three days. Thank you to Doris, Ricardo, and the rest of the team. I will definitely be back."
