Rachel and Clay were wonderful, kind, and very attentive. Clay made delicious vegan/plant based food dishes for us. Please give them advanced notice if you want vegan/plant based dishes. Every alcoholic beverage we ordered was ice cold. The property was very clean. The overall decor and style of the property is inviting, calming, and current. We will definitely be visiting Casa Granado again.
The hotel was upscale with a hint of quirky. The room had all your basic needs with a touch of charming molding and furniture. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever seen in a hotel. The staff (bilingual) extremely friendly and helpful. Don't pass on the breakfast offered with your stay. The coffee alone is worth it. Location is easily accessable and close to all things (transportation is helpful). It's a wonderful place to stay!
Fifth stay at this hotel but the first in the last 9 years, a decade has been kind to the hotel and it still feels new and fresh. A testament to how good a place it is shows in the staff retention. I recognized numerous people from my last stay in 2006!
We loved this little boutique hotel. Our room was on the 2nd floor with an ocean view & small terrace with seating for 2. Lovely sitting room & spacious clean bed & bath. Bed was comfortable. Excellent breakfast in a plant filled garden.
Some street traffic noise could be difficult for light sleepers.

The Boutique Hotel Olivar was exceptionally good! The hotel is small and very charming- each room has all essentials. Ours was room 5 with a lovely terrace overlooking the countryside and village-stunning! And the sunset can be enjoyed from the room. Everything was spotless clean, very quiet space with comfortable beds. We highly recommend this hotel! Alberto and his lovely wife went out of their way to provide breakfast when we needed to leave early. The experience here is more satisfying...
What a clean, comfortable, quiet boutique hotel on the sea, Staff was friendly and helpful. My limited Spanish was unnecessary as all spoke English. We spent two nights in January 2026. Off season travel is my favorite. I expect it will be a bit noisier in peak season
This is more like a family-run bed and breakfast. Wonderful owner who made us a great dinner as well as breakfast and was flexible with our timing and tastes, for which we were grateful! Pool is lovely!
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable. I made the mistake of thinking that the Parador would be in the old town but it's not, it's on the Playa de Mojacar (beach) about a 10 minute car ride away. But it worked out fine.
