View of the countryside between Bakuriani and Borjomi, Georgia. If you look closely, you'll notice the fire damage at the top of the mountain. In 2008, there was a brief war between Russia and Georgia over two, long disputed regions in Georgia. During the course of the war, the Russians launched airstrikes against a supposed military bunker used by the Georgian government in this area. These bombings accidentally resulted in a large forest fire that burned a significant amount of forest land - and greatly pissed off the Georgian people.
