We stayed for three nights at the Hotel Florida Lerici. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is located directly across from the beach and is about ten minute walk from San Terenzo and Lerici. I would stay here again.

Lots to do within walking distance. From restaurants to the marina with all the beautiful boats. We enjoyed great food and wine during our stay and took the ferry to Montarro and Monterosso for the day. Took the train back. Cinque Terre is easily reachable for day trips from this location.

Unfortunately, when we arrived we found out that the beaches in the area were all closed due to finding a bacteria in the water that made children very sick but not adults. Highly recommend Pensione Sorriso for a stay in Vernazza. Evelyn was a wonderful host and went beyond expectations in helping us enjoy our stay. The hotel has a bright breakfast area/lobby and a nice patio/garden to enjoy. We stayed in a room with a private bath and balcony. Although no sea view from the rooms, there is one from the patio and the sea is only a two or three minute walk from the hotel.
