Our room was clean and comfortable but looking a little tired in places (especially the carpets). The evening meal in the lovely restaurant area was excellent, friendly, cheerful staff and really good food! The bar area has comfortably chesterfield settees and a roaring fire which was really warm and cosie for an after dinner drink. We had a really good breakfast the next morning...
