Outstanding seafood. Urban sketchers will love the varied architecture. Happy vibes, even on rainy days everyone is out and about. Gorgeous views of the sea

Once you have sampled the delights of this lovely city head out to the beaches for £1 on the bus. Only negative no Uber or Bolt here unlike Portugal

I think our hotel experience ensured that we felt very confident in exploring Vigo - and loved it. We understood that this is a working city rather than somewhere tourists seek - but we found so much of interest and lots to do - mostly walking

Had a 2 hr free tour which was very informative about the history of the area.
"Beautiful hotel right near the port and old town. We had a top floor room with a balcony and a limited view of the sea. The breakfast is on the rooftop and it is very well done with excellent food options. If you sit outside , be careful of the birds because they can be aggressive. We left our table to get orange juice and came back to the table within a minute to find our food was taken by birds. The room itself was on the smaller side but was updated with a gorgeous bathroom. It fit our needs perfectly and we would stay here again."
"The hotel is bread and butter. What you see is what you get… and I love it! We arrived early and the receptionist let us go to the room as it was ready, which is always a great touch. The room was the right size — no frills, just what we needed. The location was perfect: a mere 10-minute walk to the port/sea. The staff were kind and efficient, and there was also free coffee, tea and water."
