When I arrived for checking, they had my magnetic card and name ready for me. It took 1 second.
Very helpful, great breakfast and friendly multi-lingual staff. 7 minitues from Lourdes Sanctuary, walking.
All hotels was fully booked in Pau, found this nice hotel in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Stayed for 5 nights. Basic but very clean rooms, good wi-fi and work desk allowed for effective work at the hotel.
The owner provided outstanding service for us. We were unable to use our US credit cards at the gas station and he offered to drive with us to a station and use his card and we paid him for the gas. Don’t be put off by the fact that reception for check in closes at 9; the automated kiosk was very easy to use. The rooms and breakfast are basic but fine for an overnight stop.
This is a great Hotel in Lourdes. Big bathroom in case you have someone with special necessities.
The people are very friendly and the location are superb!
I stayed at the Hotel Majestic in late Sept 2015. My review is delayed because I mistakenly thought that I had completed it (when, in fact, I hadn't).
The hotel is centrally located, and it is ~5 min walking distance from the Shrine. Upon check-in, my family realized that we were going to be on the top-most floor. My mother is unable to climb so many stairs, so we requested another room. The hotel staff were incredibly courteous and gave us a ground-floor room so that my mother could be...
The hotel looks average from the outside, but inside it is very clean and smells new. The bed and furniture are good. The breakfast buffet is good, and the restaurant is very nice
My wife and I were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel. The desk clerk was particularly accommodating. The waiter at the restaurant was adequate but not more than that.
We had a wonderful stay. Anne Marie at the front desk was very helpful with everything from directions to places to eat, etc.
We were right in the middle of everything, shopping, hike up to the Fort, the train station, etc.
We went on to Barcelona by train from Lourdes
They recommended the New Orleans Cafe next door. Good food and a fun atmosphere. The waiters are very entertaining and offer great service
Definitely recommend this hotel if you are visiting Lourdes
In Lourdes, first item is location... and Belfry was perfect. in the middle of town about 300 meters from the Sanctuary and about 5 minutes in taxi from the train station. The hotel is a beautiful property. Rooms are large and clean. Has elevators and the property been extremely well kept. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. Breakfasts, although it was not included in our package, was reasonable in price and very good. A wonderful hotel!
