"Great location to explore the island. Really central to Funchal and easy to get in and out of. We found it a little confusing exactly where the apartment was in relation to the car park, but the video they sent was helpful and communication about how to access the car park was quick and helpful"

"The Barcelo is the perfect place to stay. It is close to the water front, cathedral, main town. The oldest street and cable car are just a five minute walk. The hotel itself is lovely. Breakfast is delicious and the buffet selection well stocked. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool, although not very deep, is lovely to cool down in. The views from the rooftop are delightful in the day and night. Definitely worth staying here."
