"Never been to Watford (from US) but took a chance. Turned out to be an amazing place. Cool old UK pub and above, modern chic rooms. Ann Maria was the bartender and hotel host and she was outstanding and a hoot. She treated us like family from the moment she met us. Sean the manager treated us the exact same way. "Excellent room with everything you need. The team are brilliant and very helpful. We had team meeting there as it was a central place for us to meet and the staff were super helpful arranging somewhere quiet for us to have our meeting. The coffee and lunch throughout the day was excellent as well as my evening meal the night before. Excellent venue and I will be back in a few weeks."

"Perfect for an affordable overnight close to Heathrow. The only slight negative is that the outer hallways smelt a bit like a dirty hoover bag. Staff were brilliant, family room was nice and big and parking was free."

"The staff were very friendly and welcoming, made us feel right at home! The atmosphere in the pub was equally as welcoming. Our evening meal (the Signature burger & mixed grill) was delicious 😋. As was the breakfast (full english & American style pancakes). There was also tea, coffee, juices,pastries, jam, marmalade, cereal etc... available at breakfast. The only slight issue was the bed, it was quite lumpy. The staff, food & atmosphere ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We will be returning and look forward to it!"

"We had a great time. Clean, tidy and plenty of space for 4 people. Only feedback I would give is there was no pillows left for those sleeping on the sore bed. Also the blinds do not provide any darkness so from 4am it was bright daylight with sun streaming in. This affected our quality of sleep but we made it work. "
